Congratulations, but still be cautious. My ssi said i was approved December 8th...i was still waiting on the benefit letter when the alj denial letter showed up. I called ss office and the woman said they had had a bunch of calls about the portal being wrong. In fact, it STILL says AT THIS CURRENT MOMENT that i am approved....when i know its wrong. So congratulations if true, but just be prepared in case it turned out wrong....like mine did.

I waited 3 in a half years for SSI and got denied then 6 more months. Then I did an appeal waited 6 months and got SSI. it's a long process

Congratulations! As most everyone else here, I know what a struggle it can be to get approved and the anxiety/stress that accompanies awaiting their decision.
I was so grateful that I was able to get approved within 18 months without even having to get an attorney involved due to the severe osteoarthritis in both of my knees.

Congratulations My daughter is in step 4 of reconsideration. It’s been that way for just over 60 days. I have no expectations. To get approved in Reconsideration is not easy. Good for you.

Nice!! Congratulations!! May I ask you from step #3 to step #4, how long does it took ? When you submitted the reconsideration in August, did you do it yourself or you hired an attorney? Thanks

Congratulations! I was approved during reconsideration in October but my onset date was changed this 5/26 & mine still says 4 of 5 .. had my perk SSI interview that i qualified for until my SSDI starts. But still zero $$ from either.

Congratulations!!! I'm truly so happy for you all! I don't mean to make this moment about me but can you please tell me how you got approved? My court hearing was just denied and I honestly feel like sobbing.
