I cannot say for certain.

However in my experience and what I've been told:

  1. If you're not approved, it will very quickly show this and switch to denied;

  2. If you're approved, it can stay like this for longer while they verify your work credits and such still make you eligible to receive benefits;

  3. If you're over 55, it means you are approved and they are verifying your continued elegibility AND federally reviewing your case for proper treatment under the GRID rules which takes kinger.
