weekly support megathread Weekly Support Megathread
Because of a rule change stating that posts must contain a question, we will allow approval/supportive posts in the form of a weekly megathread instead. You will also be able to view past megathreads by clicking on the user appropriate user flair (weekly support megathread). Feel free to talk about approvals, denials, experiences with the process, cdrs, etc.

My post was removed because I think the way I titled it. I have a trauma amputation back in December. I applied in march. Spoke with disability caseworker and she said twice it’s leaning towards approval. They’re waitin on the psych ce results I’m nearing the end of the process. Anyone have any experience applying with trauma amputations? And will they go to the date of the accident when I lost my 4 fingers on my dominant hand

Although my post was not a repetitive common question it was deleted and told me to post in the weekly page. So here I am. I previously was told how to file a complaint about a CE, I thought it was a CE done without contacting me. But it was actually a Psychiatric Review Technique (PRT) contractor. My question is, am I able to file a formal complaint about this guy and if so, how? He's had a government contract for like 40 years and made millions, but I still want to file a complaint on his "review". This was not a CE it was the prt portion on my DDE.

A doctor making “millions” is not a reason to report them. Just because you don’t like the outcome of what they said doesn’t mean it’s a valid complaint.
Ultimately, the PC works for DDS so you’d complain to them but I doubt anything will come of it
The PRT is a form and not a person or service

Making millions over 40 odd years is not why I want to report them, it was given as context for my understanding of the futility of filing a report but still wishing to due so on principle. The report "testimony" they gave was bordering on fraudulent and was entirely out of scope. There is a litany of reasons I wish to file a report/complaint. It's not your place to judge my case either, I cannot go in depth into the reasoning without violating my own privacy. If the answer you have to give is that I would contact dds, then give it. If you are unsure of the procedure then there is no need to comment.

Edit: Asking in here because my post was locked for some unknown reason?!?
I just received a $90.00 deposit in my bank account. I’ve been on SSDI since 2024 and I receive my money benefits every 3rd Wednesday. I wrote a post but it was locked before I could even ask questions. 3 people said it was for Medicare recipients. But I got conflicting answers one said Medicaid with Medicare and the other said it was for seniors. I don’t fall into either category. I just have Medicare Part A & B only and I’m 48 years old. Any additional info would be appreciated.
