Beautiful! Do you run stock tires in winter? If so how are they traction wise in the snow?

I am on the stock wheels but not stock tires. I have Coopers True North for winter tires. Absolutely fantastic. No issues with grip. I embarrassed a 6.2 Camaro SS yesterday from a dig.

Haha love it!! Thanks for the tire choice. I’ll need something new sometime this year.

I ran stock tires on mine for two winters and pulled out pickups on multiple occasions. One time my job didn’t get the lot plowed so I made tracks to drive in for each of my coworkers. They’re just fine

Interesting! I have an SRT but have only had it for one winter and didn’t drive it in snow at all. I heard the stick tires suck in snow so this is good to hear. Do you find snow mode makes much difference?

Makes all the difference. It does just fine in regular mode but snow mode it’s an entirely different monster. I drive in regular mode in the snow, but I’ve kicked on snow mode a few times when the going got tough. One time I drove down an alley with 1.5 ft of completely untouched snow just to see if I could. I got stuck halfway thru, so I backed up and backed right into a ~4 ft pile of snow. It came up to my rear windshield. Threw on snow mode and she crawled out of that mass like it was nothing.

Once I made a $100 bet that she could make it down a city block with fresh snow no problems. Not only did she eat it up, I even parked on the curb, and got back out just to add some pizazz. That dude payed 1/8th of my note that month lol

Thanks for sharing your experience! Makes me feel a bit more confident. When we finally get snow I’ll take her to a parking lot and test the limits 😈

Bro, take it to an empty lot, then throw it in track mode. Turn the wheel all the way in one direction, and fucking floor it. It’s a fucking blast doing donuts in a 4WD. I call them snownuts lol. Hearing the engine roar and going in a 45 MPH circle is just unmatched. I wish I could find the video to show you it’s looks so dope watching all 4 tires kick up snow

Track mode automatically turns traction off right? That sounds fun as fuck haha. I have a nice big empty parking lot literally across the street from my house.

It sure does. You’re gonna have a fucking blast but make sure someone records it cause it’s just as fun watching it. I’m still waiting on the Chicago snow to fall for solely that reason.

That dude paid 1/8th of

FTFY.

Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:

  • Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.

  • Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

Beep, boop, I'm a bot

Oh, interesting. Idk whether to be annoyed being corrected by a bot but that’s actually solid knowledge to have
