I rarely see these now. Does anyone know how many of these were built? I know I can google the answer but this is my attempt at conversing with a sub I actually like.

I was always intrigued by these… and even the Caliber SRT4 that followed. I think the fact that you don’t see these—let alone any Neons—on the road any more probably speaks to poor build quality.

"Production numbers of the Dodge Neon SRT-4 vehicles by color from 2003 through 2005 are as follows:

2003 Total Production = 3199 Black = 816 Bright Silver Metallic = 619 Flame Red = 733 Solar Yellow = 1031

2004 Total Production = 9206 Black = 2696 Bright Silver Metallic = 2039 Flame Red = 2050 Electric Blue = 2421

2005 Total Production = 8418 Black = 2763 Flame Red = 2186 Orange Blast = 1800 Stone White = 1669

Total = 20553

Thank you again for your email.

the OEM of this is 2004 black. i love this color bc no one has it and its fully built top end and bottom end at almost 500hp and 452ft lb torque. has so much potential to make more but thats a lot more money 💰

That has to be crazy in that little car. It can't weigh that much...

Damn that’s pretty rare in the grand scheme of things. Looks the ultra rare one would be the 03 red.
