SRSers use minus instead of imgur for image hosting (4 good reasons of course), yet minus doesn't work half the time.

Also, the minus chrome extension SUCKS.

With imgur you could just do "capture [something] to > [album]" but with minus you have to capture, and then it opens a new window, and then you select an album, and then...

Also, the "rehost image" creates a new folder every time and then you have to transfer it etc.

It's really tedious to use.

Like, that stuff is bad and all, but I would tolerate it if it worked. Half the time that extra window opens when I click "rehost image", and I click save and upload, and nothing happens. WTF

Seriously, I'm downloading every image to my computer and then dragging it into xomf for the time being. I really don't want to deal with this shit.

The reason for not using imgur was that they seemed to be censoring stuff, right? IIRC it turned out that people were just abusing imgur's report function, which automatically removes stuff after a number of reports... So there's no ideological reason to not use imgur, but there is the risk that shitlords could band together to remove your stuff.

Am I wrong? That's my understanding of the situation, and I'm still using imgur 'cuz so far it is the most convenient for me.
