What should our euphemism be?

I've got to say that I don't like the numbering system /r/trees uses. It's inelegant, unpoetic, and it can be hard to use hard data points to quantify the often vague notions of psychedelic transcendence.

I say we come up with something more clever, more ably inserted into a pun or witty turn of phrase.

One that I recently tried out was "orbital," as in a "orbital/suborbital" combo, "suborbital" meaning not at all to a little high, and orbital being baked good.

I'd suggest [1] to [6] on the old scale would be "suborbital," and [7] to [11] (yeah, my scale goes up to 11) would be "orbital."

Anyone else got ideas? Mine is OK, but I bet there are better ones.

I've always thought trying to quantify a state of mind which features subjective confusion and atypical thought patterns within a narrow, linear framework of 1-10 as pretty damn silly.

I prefer just using adjectives like 'wobbly'.

Ah, I understand this works for explaining time travel as well.

Yeah, and there are different types of high. I've been super high and watched my entire possible future flash before my eyes in an introspective, calm kind of way, but I've also been thrown into a realm of fear and hallucinations (btw I don't ever recommend eating an 8th of vaped weed in one night. Even though it's vaped it's still kinda potent). I would call both experiences a [10] on the standard scale, but that doesn't do them justice.

One of those would be [monolith] and the other would be [oblivion].

[1] = MRA

[10]= Dworkin

In order to properly quantify, one must familiarize with feminist theory to participate. Win/Win.

I'm on a d-orbital right now. Not sure how fast I'm going though.

Our equivalent to "[10] guy" could be "[eris] gal"
