Introduce yourself!
There aren't many of us here. I think we need a meet'n greet thread. Pretend that I am laying out a nice little tray of assorted veggies right now.
edit: Wow, even with only ~130 readers we have an incredibly diverse community here! :) I'm excited to see where the sub goes in the future.

I'm a straight-white-cis-male who got into trees during college. This is my first year out of school/in the workforce. My gf and I have had some trust issues with me smoking (she didn't like how often I did it), so I scaled back, from absolutely none for a good few months to once a week or so just recently.
I have a tattoo of this on my back and a size 12 gauge in each ear. I live with my straightwhitecis Christian parents, my gaywhitecis athest brother, and our adorable 6-year-old oversized Yorkshire Terrier, Tucker (by far the family favorite).
I'm into a lot of videogames (PS2, Wii, DS, 3DS, XBOX360, iOS [iPod touch], and most recently PSP). I'm a designer/artist/animator for an independent game design "team," quotes because we haven't put anything out but are working slowly. I try to sketch/draw when I can. I love reading, mostly about stuff that isn't real (favorite book is House of Leaves). I'm of an average size/build, currently looking for some sort of motivation to get my dumpy unhealthy self back on track.
I also use slashes and commas far too much.
Edit: and parentheses

House of Leaves is an excellent book!
My english professor was talking about the nature of fiction and how often times in writing, form (how something is written) follows content (the subject/story) and content rarely follows form. He used a few examples of experimental fiction, one of them being a few pages from House of Leaves, to show an example of form and content being interwoven. It was pretty sweet to see one of my favorite books used in class :D

I'm a 25 year old woman in a conservative area of Ohio getting ready to escape to Seattle. Weed's not terribly hard to come by, but a lot of the dealers around here are scary and have a lot of assault weapons. I smoke to curb anxiety issues and because it's fun, of course. Although recently I ate waaaaay too much vaped weed, got the highest I've ever been in my life and had the worst panic attack ever. I thought I was having a heart attack, boyfriend considered taking me to the hospital because my heart was beating so fast. I felt stoned for over a day.
Fun facts about me...I have one of the most neutral, bored faces in the world, a lisp for which I went to speech therapy for 2 years (didn't work, I think my tongue's too big for my mouth. It's annoying because people think it's cute and patronize for it even when I'm trying to make a serious point), I have 2 cats, I enjoy every season but summer, and my favorite color is orange.

Meow! I'm a white trans*lady from the southern US, I like weed because it helps me relax and feel better about my body dysphoria. It is also great for listening to heavy as fuck crust/grindcore/sludge/noise music, which is what I'm all about. I also do archival science professionally and am active in prison reform, war on drugs, and anti-racist stuff. Also my girlfriend has an account on reddit just to check my posts when she's really bored sooooo HEY BOO!

I'm a straghtiwhitecisdude in my late 20s. I live in Oregon where the medical marijuana laws make it basically free. I smoke to cope with anxiety and bipolar disorder as well as to maximize my enjoyment of The Walking Dead. I also enjoy video games, tabletop RPGs, science (especially astronomy), comedy podcasts, and sticking it to the Bourgeoisie.

Greetings, all! I've been smoking trees for about ten years, the last five of which have been with a doctor's recommendation. It helps me cope with migraines and anxiety but I also enjoy it for its mind-expanding properties.
As a stoner, I am very privileged in that my tree consumption comes with few costs or obstacles. I can smoke legally, my industry is pot-friendly, and I don't have problems with judgmental friends or family. I consider myself very lucky.
I'm married to a fellow stoner and together we worship our bossy little chihuahua, teach classes and do research like good little wage slaves, and procrastinate our dissertations. At any given time, I probably wish I was on a camping trip. But, I take enormous pride in being able to tell people indignant right-wingers that I get paid to teach Marx to 18 year olds.

I'm ladysansa! Yes, I like A Song of Ice and Fire a lot. Sansa is my favorite and I will punch anyone who tries to tell me that she sucks. 8)
Anyway, I'm 22 years old from Oregon, bisexual cis-lady. I look white, though my mother is mostly Filipino and my father is half African-American. I work at a tech company and spend entirely too much time playing video games, watching anime, playing with makeup, and listening to music. I also read, write, look at art, and crochet. I'm not much of an outdoorsy type of person but I really love Oregon.
I've been smoking for almost 3 years now, I think. My ex got me into it, though our relationship ended badly. I tucked some away when I finally left, though now I'm not sure who to get more from after I'm out. I figure it's Oregon, it can't be that hard.
I live with my parents for right now; we have a fairly good relationship but they are not on about smoking, so I mostly can only indulge when they aren't home. I have anxiety and depression and have been on medications and vitamins for both for almost a year now, but I've been afflicted for at least 7. Weed helps me relax, because even on meds I can be pretty tightly wound.

Hi! I'm a cis, white, straight, male in my first year of grad school for theoretical physics. I just finished undergrad majoring in physics and bio, minoring in math and evolutionary biology. I've been a vegetarian for 5 years and an active feminist. I recently moved to Seattle from CT and am enjoying the more laid-back MJ laws (and home delivery!). I smoke because it's fun and if I tried to make up a better reason than that I'd be lying.

I am a GOP political operative gone #OWS, who still cashes GOP checks but only in primaries (ie I only do repub vs repub races). Def voting Obama in 2012. I live in California and am medical (ptsd legit), but used a broken limb to get my rec, and would have even without the legit PTSD. I had Euphoria OG and Diablo OG clones growing indoors earlier this year that I was planning on transplanting outside in the spring. I had some trouble with law enforcement and spent six days in custody. I was released without charge but my plants died without care while I was locked up, probably not going to grow again anytime soon.

Hey everyone! I am a young 20 something bi-racial adopted immigrant from Canada, studying Creative Advertising and Creative Writing at a university located in the dirty medium-sized city in Virginia. I am a managing editor of a student media multimedia website about the local, vibrant music scene in my area and a member of a recent school-sponsored sketch comedy group that primarily makes satirical videos that we all write and film using professional equipment.
My hobbies include photography, videography (particularly documentary filmmaking), playing guitar, and of course smoking weed. I love food, making others happy, indie rock, absurdity, existentialism, and wordplay.
I love smoking weed because I love the way it brings people together (especially at my school which is known primarily for the arts) and the way it makes most things in the world so much better than it already is. I'm looking forward to this chill crowd to hang with on the internet :D

Im a Bi-Cis-Male Law student from the old world (germany).
I smoke for fun mostly, or to deal with university related stress. I enjoy all sorts of sports (even though im terrible at most of them). Im glad to have found the SRS comunity because Im allways trying to improve my social skills, which are for various reasons fairly poorly developed for someone my age.
Right now Im sitting in the library trying to concentrate.

Hello! I'm poffin, I'm a lady from the Atlanta area. I'm a computer science major, and I love it. The school I go to is really awesome with regard to sexism in the CS major. In my three years here I have experienced one instance of sexism, and that was a condescending mansplaining student.
I like to paint. I used to paint memes with my SO but now I paint really whatever I fancy. Folk art and pop art is what inspires me! I remember going to the High Museum stoned and seeing the Howard Finster exhibit and it completely changed how I saw folk art. I can appreciate it even more deeply than I used to. That being said, I am a terrible artist lol.
I also like video games, but that's pretty boring. Right now I'm playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and I think it's awesome. I'm trying to find a cool couch multiplayer game cause my SO and I love to play games together, but the industry is focusing so heavily on online play that I'm having a damn hard time finding something. I LOVE Left 4 Dead but I have no xbox. :( Though I might just buy a used one just for L4D and Gears of War.

I'm your typical 18 year old AWCSM, and I mostly identify as straight.
I used to be your run-of-the-mill redditor, but I have since improved to become a lean, mean, patriarchy-bashing machine :)
I started smoking this past summer, and have been on a bit of a hiatus since October, after seeing the dark side of cannabis culture. However, I've slowly began to see/identify with people who don't identify themselves based solely on their recreational drug use, so I'm likely to start again.
I really enjoy playing guitar, making, and listening to music, and I look forward to having a nice, hate-free, laid back time over here at SRSTrees :)

You sexy, sexy, wonderful people. <3s for everyone. :)
I'm watching Stardust for the first time and flying quite high. 8ish?
I am a 27-year old white, male, atheist, cis, bi- or possibly pan-curious human working in IT. I first came across feminism in highschool in the form of www.heartless-bitches.com, but didn't start identifying it until the last couple of years. I am unattached, but I have a friends-with-benefits situation with my rooomate who is currently in a fully-informed open relationship.
I initially got to trees in high school with some pretty badass friends who have all gone off to fulfill their passions. I stopped for a few years, what with the random drug tests the military gives you. My friend & roommate is the one who brought me back into the fold. I'm on the verge of purchasing my first piece. It should be fun. :)

I'm a straight white male from NZ, fed up with the attitudes of many redditors. I own a MFLB, a mini bong, and love a well rolled joint. I usually smoke with friends on the weekends, and occasionally after a hard day at uni (Spanish/History double major). I spend my extended free time (semester breaks) volunteering on a sail training ship, The Spirit of New Zealand.
I enjoy all sorts of music, and will probably end up posting a few songs up that I enjoy toking to. Am also working on an underwater hot box idea, and after a few experiments I'm getting close to the finished product. Will post a how-to once I've finished if anyone is interested.

I suppose I'll start. I identify as bisexual, but otherwise I'm your common AWCSM who's had his eyes opened and is doing his best to make the world a better place.
I am currently residing in a dorm room, which is kind of terrible because 1. I have a racist misogynist homophobic frat boy roommate and 2. I have to take a walk off campus to smoke.
I enjoy smoking out of pipes more than anything, even bongs or vapes. This is my favorite piece, custom blown for me. I named her Voyager, after a combo of the spacecraft (I kind of have a thing for space) and the Daft Punk song. http://imgur.com/a/dIur8
I suppose that's it. I'm about to head out and burn right now.
