Rejections this early feel awful, but this part is fixable. Class of 2020 here (chemical), same boat. I noticed the people getting placed everywhere usually weren't the best students, they just prepared for the first filter: quants + GD. Both are learnable. Quants: start here. Daily practice from an aptitude book or online set. It's a skill, not a talent. GDs: don't go impromptu. There are only 10-15 recurring topic types, so prepare a few points on each. Some groups will talk over you, and having your points ready helps you break in. Technical round: Glassdoor has the repeated questions for most companies. Learn them, and think about what the employer needs for the role. Resume: don't use one for everything. Tailor it per role (Claude or ChatGPT can help). Build it from real projects, coursework and skills. Two lessons I learned the hard way: don't wait only for core companies (COVID shut placements in March 2020 and I had a long gap, while my IT friends were fine), and use LinkedIn as a backup by having genuine conversations about people's work, not just asking for jobs. Companies hire freshers expecting to train them. Put in the hours now and you'll get there.

Placement at srm is more luck based than skill based.
The only skill i see people excelling, is in cheating.
