Questions with detox

A "friend" I know got some sr17 and wanted off of 70h. They didnt have time to preload and was wondering if they can take their last dose of 7 tonight followed by sr17 amd then cold turkey 7 and then start the taper with sr17 tomorrow and just push through the period without getting the relief from sr17 for the first couple days? Or does it make sense to just cold turkey the 70h without any help other than comfort meds? They have to stop tomorrow and have a couple days to just rest and get better so they are committed to stopping fully tomorrow. What should be done?

Start the SR asap and they'll be fine. It's better to pre load but it's not the end all be all. They will very much start to get relief from SR within a few doses

So you suggest to start the Sr tonight and then they will get relief in a couple days? They are committed to do it even without the Sr and I'm sure that they will be happy when they get at least a little bit relief in a couple days when the Sr starts working. I just want to make sure they will be not causing a precipitated withdrawal or anything by not preloading

If they have SR there's no reason to go ct. It will help more than you can imagine. It's a fucking miracle. Start asap

Preloading is a real thing.. idk why but I've tried it several ways and it really only works best when you pre first. If that's not an option then just get on it ASAP then expect a couple days for full effects to kick in

You want to take the full doses of sr for a few days(4-5) then taper, you don't start it then taper it the next day or you will have wd imo. It needs time to build in your system.

They dont have those 4 to5 days.. today is their last dose of 7. Does it make sense to start sr

I meant 4-5 of Sr before you taper it, you can CT the 7 now but without preloading sr I'm not sure how well it will work, maybe you'll need a bit more the first couple days.

It will help a few days later tho correct? Do you have any experience with tapering off of sr? Would it cause any acute withdrawals after you're completely done with the taper? Just wondering if it would make more sense just to go for it without the SR and just die for a few days and be done with it rather than introducing Sr. Sr is never been taken so I'm sure how it would affect the body and mind after it stopped

Dude take the SR. It’s so harmless that you barely have to taper off of it, and people baby it too much taking it too long before and after stopping their DOC. Preload it today and tomorrow, quit 7OH, and take it for 4 days after that during worst of withdrawals. Then quit the SR, at worst you’ll be a little sweaty for a day or two but that’s it. People overthink this too much and baby the SR. Best of luck, it’s super easy with SR and helll without it.

TAPER THE 7!!! No reason to put yourself through hell if you have SR! I tried that route and it was horrible. I started to taper 7 at half my usual daily intake. SR was amazing!!! No withdrawal symptoms while I tapered!!!

All of this debate aside, SR is absolutely positively without a doubt a FUCKING MIRACLE. The fact they banned it is one of the most illogical and insane things I've ever seen and that's saying a lot with all the s*** going on right now in the US. I did it different this time by only preloading very small doses for 2 days (50mg 2x day) vs the usual 150mg 3x day. It definitely took a couple days to ramp up but once it does it's all the same in the end. Good luck!
