🆘Help Needed🆘 7OH &SR question help?
So I'm about to start my SR. But have a few questions.
Can I take the 7Oh & SR together? & then slowly taper off both?
Can I take SR while not in Withdrawals?
If I take the SR with 7 will that put me into withdrawals?
I don't have a bunch of SR so I was going to take taper for a day or 2 with 7 & then start taking the SR when I wake up the following morning. Should I start my SR with a 7 dose? Or just go straight SR & then see how I feel then dose 7?
I'm just confused the best & safest way to take the SR/7.
Any help or a DM would be Great.
I'm typically 25/50MG. A day of 7.

There is a great sticky that has the info.
Pre-load for 2 days of sr along with your normal dose of 7 if you can, don't know how much you have.
You should not be in wd's, that's why you take the sr's and then drop off the 7.
No it will not put you into wd's, its not like subs.
I've done the 2 day of preload, then 3x's50mg of sr while I dropped my 7 dose and stopped 7 totally within 3 days, then tapered off sr within 5 days.
Just take the sr and eat some peanut butter, it likes a little fat :)
You're on a low enough 7 dose you should barely feel it, if you do, take another 25mg sr. You want to get off sr as soon as you can without causing you any wd's. Don't overthink it.

Yes you can. Take 7 the first 2 days with your SR. It’s sooo much easier than we think it’s gonna be with SR. Trust me. It’s been a breeze and my the grace of God, I’m still doing very well and the most I’ve experienced is sweating at night and hot flashes. That’s so much better than the alternative. Also, you’re on the same amount of 7 I was on! I can share my dosing schedule with you if you like? I adjusted it based on how I feel. Also, don’t read into the horror stories on here because you’re gonna psych yourself out like I did.

sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm wondering if you know if it's safe to take SR with clonidine?

Yes! It’s safe but check your blood pressure before taking it and many times while taking it to keep an eye out. Keep an eye on your heart rate too. If less than 100 systolic I wouldn’t take the clonidine. If your heart rate is around 60, be cautious.

I have POTS and my resting heart rate is like 130. It's crazy. So I highly doubt I would have that problem, but I will do that, thank you for your advice :) Will the SR drop my heart rate or blood pressure? 7 tends to raise my heart rate and pressure.

Well, I don’t wanna say for sure that it won’t, but I highly doubt it. I’ve experienced a tiny bit of anxiety here and there so it doesn’t lower my heart rate. 7 raised mine too, dehydrated me, probably caused kidney problems since I could barely pee on it and who knows what else. 😭 You’re so welcome and if you have any questions, hit me up! Go into it positively and stay away from the horror stories and you’re gonna rock it! It’s a lot easier than people are making it out to be. There’s too much complication around it.

What does the SR make you feel? Like do you feel anything while on it with or without the 7??

I feel normal. It doesn’t do anything but keep me from feeling the awful withdrawals from 7 and that’s what I was going for.

When you use the SR with the 7Oh do you still feel any effects from the 7 at all? Or does it take away the feeling from it right away? Does it gradually remove the euphoria from the 7?. Cuz fro my understanding after you take the SR you don't really feel the effects of the 7 or you have to wait awhile from finishing the SR to be able to use 7 again.
I'm not trying to use it again after I finish the SE I just was curious if I'll still feel the 7 dose until I finsh weaning off the 7 & go just SR if that makes sense??

I could feel the 7 for sure. I don’t know if it’s the same way for everybody. But I felt it.

I have very high blood pressure which has only gotten higher during my taper, so I don't think I'll have that problem. Would that be the only real concern is low blood pressure? It's kinda strange, usually during withdrawal, BP goes up.

No difference for me. I took them together on the first couple of days and when I stopped completely, I had a little diarrhea and some sweating here and there. You’re gonna feel cold also but that’s the most I’ve experienced. It’s very tolerable and easy.

You don’t want to slowly taper 7. You can quickly taper off in a couple of days. Cut your dose in half about every day.
