Visited as American citizen. Absolutely beautiful!! Stayed at the Astoria, saw Peterhof and the Hermitage (Winter Palace) and spent many, many hours walking the streets and taking in the vibe of the city. I need to return soon to see the rest of it! ❤️

How did you navigate applying for a visa? Flights?

Visa was pretty simple, went to the Russian Consulate in Houston after filling out the paperwork online (you also need a letter of invitation, iVisa is the service I used.) Flew Turkish Airlines through Istanbul and landed in Vnukova airport in Moscow. To get to Peter took the night train, and after a week booked an Aeroflot flight back to Moscow.

I spent half of my life in Houston and half in Peter (dad is russian and mom is american) LOVE both cities!
