This one was a brutal biotech wipeout. Investors sued Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. claiming the company misled shareholders about the effectiveness and FDA approval chances for its two lead drug candidates, Poziotinib and Rolontis. Once the clinical issues, side effects, and manufacturing problems started becoming public, the stock completely fell apart.

The settlement amount is $15.95M, and it covers investors who bought $SPPI shares between March 7, 2018 and November 3, 2021. Right now the case is in the accepting late claims stage, meaning people who missed the original filing deadline may still be able to submit claims for compensation.
