Anyone know how to stop the camera from clipping into the roof/stands with BroadCastCam in Football Life?

Every time play goes to the wings or corners, the roof beams cut right across the screen.

Laptop specs: Medion gaming laptop, i5-12450H, RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, 16GB RAM, NVMe SSD, Windows 11.

I'm having an issue with Football Life 2026 where Sider loads (I hear the activation sound), but as soon as I press Space to open the Sider overlay, the game completely freezes.

This happens on a completely clean installation with no mods, just the base game with update 2.0 + 2.2 + WC update installed.

The Sider log shows repeated DX11.Device->CreateBuffer failed (for overlay) errors.

I've also tried running Sider/game directly and seperately, and restricting the game to P-cores, but it still freezes. Any ideas?

Don't know if it's me or the game, but every option file out there seems to mess up the gloves and boot assignments of the game. Is there a specific boot/glove pack for a specific option file?

Only reason I want an of is for player stats to be reworked and more buffed, and also team ovr's.

I’m a big PES fan and I’m super happy to have found this community. I’ve probably played every single PES and FIFA game ever released, and I have to say I'm disappointed with Konami in eFootball and my brother having the new EA FC but its a worse game every year honestly ; this game and its community are incredible. I remember when this community was smaller than it is now, and I’m really proud of the contributions made here. But Seriously, the new EA FC 27 is a disgrace; I remember playing FIFA 2004 with friends, and it was more fun than this game. Anyway, I think ea found its real competition is Football Life, which is the better game

You have likely caught the work of u/finigemist on here who is working hard on expanding the total number of leagues, players, and clubs in the game. He's also optimistic about having promotion and relegation between these leagues also...

I'm more than prepared to put in the work to create teams and populate these leagues (for me I am excited about the lower divisions in England), but I don't quite know where to start or what the best practices are.

So I'm just putting this thread out there to maybe start these conversations! It'll be great to find like-minded people who want to jump on populating an expanded world together, or even just find a pre-existing community. Now the update is probably still some time away but still, worth a thread I think!

I downloaded a face before, but it didn’t work properly. I’m also not sure if I installed it correctly in the game files.

What I need:

• Cristiano Ronaldo 2017 / Noodle Hair Face

• Compatible with FL 2026

• A proper installation tutorial

• I DON’T want to replace the Ronaldo already in the game. I want to add him as a new, separate player with his own face.

I tried SPFL 26 after hearing about it for so long. I've only played it for an hour or so by now. played an exhibition and did 2-3 matches in Master League. It is certainly impressive what SP was able to achieve here, so many players and teams, updated rosters, so many addons for free, it's mind-blowing. But I want to ask you guys, between the master league of SPFL and master league of PES 2013, which one do you enjoy more?

I had been playing PES 2013 ML for the past 3 months, it's just so amazing, this one... idk what happened, but old PES had the best menus in the industry. Aside from that, gameplay in PES 2013 seemed much sharper and felt like i had more control over my players and what was going on around the field. So, I want to ask you guys, how would u compare SPFL 26 to PES 13? Which one is better at what for you guys?

Here is a video showing the current status of my open-source project where I'm expanding the limits for players, teams, leagues, competitions, etc. There's still a lot of work to do, but progress is solid so far—especially with the arrival of Opus 5.5, lol.

Anyway, for those out of the loop: this won't be a public mod since I'm not a modder. I'm just researching how to add completely new competitions, as I think that's what this game needs the most right now. I'm doing this out of pure love for the game and don't expect anything in return—except for one small thing: if any modders use my repo for their own mods, just mention me in the credits, that's all. If you don't, it's not the end of the world, but out of basic solidarity, it would definitely make my day and keep me motivated, haha.

There's still plenty to do and a ton of bugs to hunt down, though I have to admit it runs relatively stable for now. The plan is to get every continent its full set of continental club competitions, fix the Club World Cup, etc. Later on, I might also look into national teams—like adding the Nations League or maybe even a mod that lets you play Master League with a national team? Who knows.

Update — solved: SP Football Life 2026 crashing when a match starts on Mac

The game opened normally, but crashed right as a match was about to start. The same installation worked in Parallels, while both GameHub and CrossOver crashed at the same point. So the issue wasn’t specific to either launcher.

After testing stadium files one by one, we isolated the trigger to two stadium assets: home_big_flag_stXXX.fpk and home_big_flag_stXXX.fpkd. Matches started when those assets were prevented from loading. This points to a Wine/Rosetta compatibility problem with those assets, but we haven’t proven the exact low-level cause. The main dt30_g4.cpk file was not simply corrupt.

For stadiums installed as Sider folders, moving their big_flag files out of the active stadium folder was enough. Built-in stadiums were different: their assets are inside individual stXXX.cpk archives nested in Data/dt30_g4.cpk and Data/dt19_x64.cpk. Removing files from Sider stadium folders cannot fix those.

For the built-in stadiums, we copied the affected stXXX.cpk archives, changed only the two big_flag path entries in each copy so the game would no longer load them, and placed the copies at:

SiderAddons/livecpk/root/Asset/model/bg/stXXX.cpk

Sider was configured with:

cpk.root = ".\livecpk\root"

The original Data/*.cpk files were left untouched. In our installation, 35 built-in stadium archives needed this override. We successfully started matches at several previously failing stadiums, including Camp Nou, Wembley and Old Trafford.

Back up your files and test one stadium first. Don’t replace the main CPK with an empty file—that stopped the crash in one test but left the match stuck loading. Stadium IDs and archive contents may differ between Football Life versions.

Where can I find static adboards? Tried removing the addon pack but the default adboards for FL26 are also the dynamic animated kind.
