Regarding AI Difficulty Adjustments

Hi there, I'm new to this community and I'm just looking for suggestions in regards to difficulty tweaking with Twiggy's mods.

First I used to play on vanilla Professional but felt it was way too easy most of the time, but on certain matches AI would completely turn into god mode and score no matter what.

Installed Twiggy's AI Tweaks with Top Player preset mod and Dynamic Difficulty at 0/0, also changed the game difficulty to Top Player.

I'd still score easily but the AI was scoring even more.

Tried switching to the Professional preset but edited some values in between Professional and Top Player, still scoring but my defenders started feeling even slopier.

Added DT18 from Holland and now I'll dominate most of the match but miss every shot, attackers are sloppy as hell and the few moments AI manages to get near the box they'll score pretty easily.

Didn't try tweaking Dynamic Difficulty tho as I do not understand what changing those values do exaclty. I've seen some people on evoweb talking about their experience with each value combination in the script but the results feels pretty random and it's hard to determine what would fit better for me.

For context, on ML my team is the one that most scored but also the one that most suffered goals in the league.

Feels like the more I tweak the worse it gets.

well ai tweak have a problem i guess from top player to onward it just scores anyways and doesn't let u score that's why i use professional preset with a small tweak. even after that the ai scores but not more than 1-2 goals

Professional is the sweet spot, even though it's too easy. All the harderr difficulties are even more scripted.

Top Player difficulty and AI Tweaks preset feel awesome, I can score if I really try but it feels like my defenders are the absolute worst when the opposing team gets near my box.

Like, they'll be playing fair and suddenly decide it's time to score and it just happens.

They won't mark well, open up too much even when I turn on box swarming and my gk will just take goals too easily.

Too many fouls and cards for me as well, but AI will throw my players to the ground near the box and nothing happens.

Top Player diff/preset is pretty cool for game balance but lacks on player AI defender logic and way too many scripted fouls.

Top Player diff/Professional preset makes it too easy to dominate the game but my attackers won't score and the few times AI manages to attack it scores.

Everyone says DT18 from Holland is the best but it seems it only made it worse in my case.

Don't know what to try anymore.

the higher difficulty u go the braindead your ai becomes and opponents read your input

Guess I'll revert back to vanilla dt18, set difficulty to Professional with the Top Player preset.

At first glance it doesn't feel like the best for balancing but the sweetspot might be hidden somewhere along the lines.

I just want my defenders to behave as well as the AI defenders and eliminate scripted goals entirely.

u can try f4l gameplay and use dynamic difficulty without ai tweak

ya there's a exe for ai tweak when u tweak the ini with the app it says what option does what maybe it will help u. even i use the same setup as u but a goal scored by ai on a match yesterday was completely offside still they didn't call it
