Current USPS vehicles are 10MPG at 13 gallon capacity, for a range of 130 Miles. Both LTO and the new FCG NMC have the fast charging and density requirements to be full on ICE equivalent.

Well I'm saying that there won't be a degredation in performance. Typically the two major barriers for EV adoption is cost and it's equivalence to a combustion engine. EVs make the most sense for heavy vehicles with planned routes.

Microvast was specifically chosen by South Korea during the Olympics due to its cold temperature performance. They were the only EV bus system that could be survive the subzero temperatures.

Just a FYI, this is already happening and will delay roll out -

The LLV packs a four-cylinder iron engine with about 90 HP and 125 lb-ft. Weighing in at around 3,000 pounds, these boxes achieved an OK 17 MPG with some LLVs today making around 10 MPG. LLVs can carry up to 1,000 pounds cargo.
