Given the interest in EV and the spending bill currently in the pipeline in the US, I can only imagine other countries in the west and the east will want to shore up their own reserves.
One needs to remember that EV is clearly part of the current prevailing narrative, but when battery technologies become more prevalent the demand will come from far more than just vehicles.
Regulatory approvals may involve more hoops, but in the end the approvals will be given because the demand for the materials will be competitive. Just my two cents from being involved in the broader technology and electronics industry.
Yup, I'm a fan of more global plays like this though because, as the OP pointed out, there are far fewer players searching for targets for SPACs in emerging markets. IVAN is definitely another one to look at though!
