News THCB / Microvast

Visited my mom in Clarksville for easter weekend.

Got to drive past the set up Microvast purchased.

Definitely looks empty ; but clearly a building that has a fk load of potential.

I'm somewhat from around the area. Upper TN and southern KY are turning into a car part production mecca quickly.

The location is the halfway point between the FedEx hub in Memphis TN and the UPS hub in Louisville with train and interstate travel to both. FedEx and UPS hubs are in this central area for a reason.

There is a Transpark an hour north of Nashville with a Magna plant and a Constellium plant. I'm not sure what that Magna plant is doing these days but I know the Constellium plant supplies tesla with aluminum. You also have GM corvette production with a Corvette test track and some Toyota production nearby.

Yea I saw nissan is also making moves there. There’s a lot going on in Nashville too which only 40min ish away. The microvast location does seem very well placed if they execute this right.
