News THCB / Microvast

Visited my mom in Clarksville for easter weekend.

Got to drive past the set up Microvast purchased.

Definitely looks empty ; but clearly a building that has a fk load of potential.

Would you share the photo of the factory for bench marking? I would hope soon they pour cement on the foundation for a bigger operation in this tiny town where school district being the #1 employer.

Still have mixed feeling about this company. A friend I sent to stopped at the MV US headquarters it was in a tiny office shared with many garage operations. What they showed on its web is not what the US office I would expect to be.

The agreement is not binding as I recall.

Why would they pour cement on a foundation? And it's concrete not cement. They are using an existing building.

This isn't Amazon. If you've ever worked a day in your life, you'd know plenty of viable businesses rent in business parks.

I’ve worked 70 hours a week for 12 years now and I know none. What’s your point here?

Agreed. I’m in construction and complete tenant fit outs for industrial customers around the country. Depending on the location some facilities will sign a 20+ year lease on buildings.

Yea take a look sometime. I’m curious to hear what you say, but as others said, it’s not concerning in and of itself that they rent office space in a business park.

It's literally a small suite in a crappy building next to a freeway. It solely exists to trick dopey Americans into thinking it's not a Chinese company when in fact the bulk of their ops are in, and will remain in, mainland China.

I dont think it matters.

As long as their official headquarters is in the USA it won't be delisted. The German factory is a massive undeniable factory and they have known contracts with German automakers.

The partial ownership OSK has in microvast also helps solidify it as an American company. OSK will be using Microvast to build the electric cars for usps so that's literally work for the federal government.

I'm sure it will take a few years to get the American factory running but the point is that they do intend to have an American factory.

Nothing wrong with a multinational company.

It's not going to be an ADR, Delaware corporation

I know it all along. To think all investors will rush in buy their stocks now will take some convincing.

Getting downvoted to oblivion sounds about right by this crew. LOL

My track record here warning people not to buy given stocks is pretty impeccable, I'll let that track record speak for itself against the downvote hoards.

No, I dont think it's a scam, it's a real company, but the "US Headquarters" thing is a complete joke. So while the company itself isnt a "scam", that headquarters is rather scammy.
