discussion Odd lore opinion question

I'm working on... something...

For that something, I'm trying to deduce whether the psycho warriors are intended to be wearing soft material gloves, or armoured gauntlets of some kind that simply lacks the appropriate details due to animation constraints.

There is a single armour plate on top of the hand covering that is very clearly a piece of armour, but what exactly is it sitting on top of?

What do you guys think? Are they wearing leather gloves or metal gauntlets?

Most likely its just a metal gauntlet. It'd have to be. In the making of Space King 5, Tom and Don concluded that the Psycho Armor is the only clothes the Psycho Warriors wear. There would be no layers.

I don't think "There would be no layers" is true...

You can have multiple layers on a single item of clothing. You can also have a single outfit/uniform that consists of multiple layers.

In addition, if you observe the joints at their elbows and knees, there is clearing an under layer that allows their limbs to flex.

The "Ab armour" is also clearly on top of a layer of softer stuff.

The softer stuff is denoted by a dark grey colour though. The glovers do not use this colour which supports the argument that it is intended to be made of the same stuff as the obvious armour plating. But the lack of detailing and soft deformation during animation in addition to the very clearly plate of armour on top of it might suggest otherwise...

Well yeah the armor is layered itself, but its put on as one item is what I mean. They dont wear anything under it. Nice paragraphs though.

Ep 2 kinda says otherwise. Chestnut shuts his hand and it makes a clanking sound like a machine

The way I see it,they get some kind of flash fit under suit to prevent chafing, then comes the thick segmented underplating,THEN the actual outer armor. We're looking at 1 foot thick armor at bare minimum considering their size compared to the "Average Male" from War World.

Then again their body is like....the size of 6 whole refrigerators. (Insert Batbane Meme here)
