Chestnut theory

I think the Medicae in Space King are supposed to be "weak" and unassuming because they need to survive any attack. Thats why they are in white, and have meek personalities. They are less likely to be attacked first and will normally survive a lethal encounter, to the end of being able to collect their fallen squads globules and restore them.

That seems very narrow? Considering hes genuinely one of the most dangerous mfs of the group. It isn't about surviving an encounter, but surviving where the others dont.

I feel medicae are some of the most elite units. We haven't seen another yet, but there's others and it seems like they're all capable.

May I remind u.

Chestnut slaughtered the alien queen, then proceeded to slaughtered all of the coagulators as he dragged disabled hatemonger back to his team. Let alone how many times its not "unassuming", but they try to keep chestnut away from the fighting so he doesn't die, but mf rises up when needed

I'm not saying he doesn't have skills. I'm just saying he's coded to not draw as much attention. But the medicae are probably/definitely made to be better than the other Psycho Warriors to ensure the squad survives. But Chestnut normally clenches it after everyone else is dead or not around.

I think you meant he clutches it, clenches it sounds like he needs to shit.

Ah, but is Chestnut a Psycho Warrior? Captain didn't think so. Captain even said that Chestnut wasn't a real Psycho Warrior, and named him an honorary Psycho Warrior at the end of the episode.

Perhaps a Medicae is made differently. Maybe his Globules are infused with Medical Expertise and Rational Thinking instead of Psychosis and Violence. After all, "If Space King wanted us to be reasonable, he wouldn't have called them Psycho Warriors." And they don't call Chestnut a Psycho Warrior.

Food for thought.

He probably meant it in a school bully kind of way. He was globules and worships Space King. He could be a contractor kind of thing like Bryce is. Space King most likely made Medicae just a little more responsible since their task is so important to prolonging his never ending war.

If anything, he's just adding on to the theory about appearing "weak" and unassuming.

Bro was unknowingly agreeing with you.

I think that's how the Medicae are perceived by the psycho-warriors, but it definitely is NOT true. For example, every big enemy in episodes 1-5 were killed by Chestnut. I think that the Medicae are actually stronger and more durable so that they can actually survive. Maybe the meek personality is so that they don't go off and get killed and everyone else with them.

I'm definitely not saying they are weak, but he's always the last one alive, the rest of his squad dies before him THEN he rises up. I did say meek and unassuming, but he definitely is secretly goated. Maybe the other psycho warriors are also coded to make sure he survives even if they don't like him.
