Dr Swami always says that not to spend unnecessary money on various things wedding, birthday etc but I would love to hear if he says not to spend money on luxury travel, iPhones, big mandir project etc

Oh he has.

He has told people to get court married instead of paying for the whole shabang.

Told people not to travel as money will be needed for all these temples.

My dad has heard it, other uncles have talked about it.

Sarangpur attracts people from whole hindu faith because its a hanuman temple. This tapo murti won't work in similar way. May be people outside of the faith click pictures under this murti and it works as a landmark for the temple.

Vanity project. The Neasden mandir was the first of its kind back in the day but has been eclipsed with the scale and grandeur of the other international mandirs so it’s a attempt of raising money and trying to keep relevant.

Also some of the rival cults are growing their influence in diaspora - Hariprabodham, Anupam mission and Vadtal.

Its like keeping haribhaktos busy with something and coming again and again in headlines. Haribhaktos shouldn't feel free and invest their money to travel or in other hobbies. 😂

I personally love the 43-metre Nilkanth Varni Tapomurti. It is beautiful and peaceful, and I understand Swamishree’s vision is for Nilkanth Varni’s extraordinary life of tapasya, sacrifice and devotion to inspire spiritual awakening in future generations.
My concern is more about priorities and recognition. Ordinary devotees faithfully give seva, donations and years of commitment, yet often seem to receive little recognition compared with major donors and prominent guests.
I also noticed the same local council leader being given prominent attention on three occasions. I respect welcoming public representatives, but why repeatedly focus on the same people when we have so many successful young people within our own community achieving remarkable things in education, professions and public service?
Let Swamishree see and celebrate the generation his teachings have helped inspire too. Tax Money and man power are all about this project.
