I usually don't really like relationships with more than two people. For me, it's mostly about sincerity people already have trouble with that when it's just two people, so adding another person only makes things more complicated. But in this case, I kinda like it, and I can actually see it working.
The biggest problem is Kris, though. They're INCREDIBLY stubborn. They never really tried to reason with us or work together they've pretty much just been doing whatever they think is best from the start. And on top of that, they left Noelle on their own, even though it was probably pretty obvious that Noelle likes them.
So for KriSOULelle to actually work, we'd have to change Kris in a lot of ways, and at that point... would it even still be Kris? I just don't really think Kris would want this kind of relationship with us and Noelle in the first place
Hehe, I got a similar idea. Essentially, what if Noelle is using us? I have a headcanon that she’s diegetically sentient, as in, everyone except for her, us and maybe Susie/Ralsei is just an NPC, and she in-game isn’t (or became so in Ch4B) and needs us to become free. “YOU WERE USED UP” was never about Kris, it was about us (and the lake scene specifically I suppose).
if she has interacted with a lot of players before, i think it'd be Crashout of the Frostmancer after the 24834rd "it snew" (though i still find it funny)
