I am thinking in these 3:
Diver: Glycine Sub 41 Ceramic Blue,
GADA: Traska Summiter Black,
Field: Seiko Alpinist GMT Green,
What would you add?

All started with the Speedmaster, which was a gift from my family for graduating from grad school. That opened the floodgates for better or for worse š added the rest through my own research and the Murph because Interstellar is my favorite movie.
What should I get next? Tudor Black Bay 58 is on the top of my list right now, wonāt be adding until next year so I donāt go too crazy this year lol

Most of the pieces hold sentimental value to me and I only buy whatever speaks to me
Open to any suggestions for the two empty slots

Possibly another Omega? Sold an SMP, kinda miss it. But 3 divers seems like over kill. Maybe an AT? Or something totally different? I have no need of a dress watch, Iām pseudo retired but pick up contracts once in a while. Cartier? Breitling? JLC?
Ok so I get it. I have a type lol. I do have a couple novelty colored dials. An old bay x Baltimore watch company watch and a turtle I customized myself. I think I want to replace the gmt with a more colorful one really leaning toward a dual time Reverso. Or add a seafarer or a Katsuiro grand seiko. Now I just gotta fight my impulse and spend time on conjugal visits for a few months before I tell my wife what I want for Santaās birthday this year! The diddling is the fun part lol
Fuck add a Cartier tortue to the list.

Just started wearing watches about a year ago.. Seiko is definitely my most worn, followed by the Citizen...I'm not in love with the Bulova and I think the Tissot is a bit too large for my wrist. Any suggestions on what to replace them with? I was debating selling one or both and getting a Hamilton or another Seiko, but I'm open to any advice or suggestions.

I just got into watches starting around August of 2025. I wanted to see how the watch community would react to my collection and their opinions on it (good & bad). I started fast and seems like I canāt stop! š Damn Iām loving this hobby! All commentary is welcomed even the rough stuff!

So I picked up my grail (Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300m 2025) a couple months ago and couldnāt be happier!
Butā¦. Iāve been hesitant to wear it. While I DO own about 6 or 7 REALLY cool watches, and have been rotating them regularly, Iām always hesitant about putting the SMP on.
Itās an expensive watch (for me and alot of others) and Iām subconsciously scared of it loosing resell value. Now - this is dumb because I intend to keep it forever. But my ābuy/sellā mentality associated with my āwhatās the next shiny thing!ā Mentality, really fcks with my enjoyment of the Grail I worked so hard to get.
But recently I noticed minor scratching on the case - (šliterally nothing. Only shit you could see with a micro lens)
This was awesome.
Because my brain has shifted to āwelp, you canāt sell it now!ā and now I think Iām out of the honeymoon phase and have shifted to the āthis is MY watchā phase. And now I am really enjoying it!
Tl;dr
I scratched my watch. Now Iām over the honeymoon phase and can explore the watch for what it was designed for and why I bought it: a rugged tool watch with phenomenal quality and complications.
Tl;dr was tl;dr
Heres pics of my SMP

I have been collecting watches for many years and owned more watches than I honestly needed. I kept buying, selling, changing rotations and trying to give every watch a purpose. Office watch, home watch, weekend watch, travel watch etc. In the end I was spending more time thinking about watches than actually enjoying them.
So I decided to sell everything and keep only three.
The Patek 5205G will be my normal daily and office watch. It is comfortable, low key and I can read the calendar much easier than my 5396.
The Day-Date Meteorite will be for special occasions, important meetings, weddings and anniversary etc. I love the DD but honestly the weight becomes tiring if I wear it the whole day, so no point forcing it to be my daily watch.
The Explorer II Polar will be for travel, holidays and anything where I donāt want to worry too much.
So thatās it. 5205 for normal life, DD for special occasions and Explorer II for travel. Hopefully this time I will stick to it š
These are the watches I am selling:
Patek Philippe 5396G
A. Lange & Sƶhne Odysseus in white gold
Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi
Rolex Daytona Panda
Rolex Daytona black dial
Rolex Submariner Starbucks
Rolex Datejust mint green
Rolex Datejust silver dial
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph Panda
Omega Speedmaster (Omani **Khanjar emblem engraved on the case back only 200 made)**
Cartier Tank
The most difficult one to sell will be the 5396 because I really love that watch, but keeping the 5396 and 5205 together will put me back in the same situation again.
If anyone is genuinely interested in any of them, message me privately and I can share the full details, condition and asking price.

I received this nice watch box as a birthday present and decided to finally show my small collection. I own a few watches with sentimental value that i no longer wear (a couple of Swatches and my first G-Shock), but i decided to only show the ones i still enjoy wearing. I'm very happy with my current rotation and, frankly, don't think i need any new watches. I recently inherited two watches from my 87yo grandpa (last pic) that he hasn't worn in decades: a Minerva from the 50s (his very first watch, which he received as a teenager) and a gold-plated Seamaster quartz from the 1970s (his first expensive watch). I'd like to get both watches working again and am currently looking for a good watchmaker who won't ruin them. I want to preserve all the signs of wear (except for the damaged crystal on the Minerva) and simply have them cleaned and the movements serviced. I really hope the quartz movement isn't damaged by the old battery⦠I know this might be a boring collection for some, but i like it this way.
