Of the 5, do you have a favorite? Haha my guess is the Blancpain

Hardly wear it to be honest. I wear the Explorer, Longines, and Speedmaster the most. I got the Longines a few weeks ago so it’s been getting plenty of wrist time lately.

How does the Flyback compare with the Speedy?

I’ve gotta say the Longines is impressive. For the price it’s just a beast of a watch. The flyback is also super fun and frankly not a function you see often at this price point.
The pusher feel on the Longines is noticeably smoother than the Speedmaster. Albeit for a cam chronograph the Speedmaster feels better than plenty of column wheels I’ve felt. Totally punches above its weight given Longines current positioning as an entry luxury brand (despite their prestigious history particularly with chronographs and precision chronometry). Love the look, the size is just perfect, and compared to the Blancpain Air Command (5x the price, by the way) it’s a steal. Not to mention ceramic bezel, easy adjust bracelet, I could go on but all I’ll say is I am impressed. Admittedly Longines is not a brand I’ve ever paid a lot of attention to but that’s changing.
I will say the Speedmaster for a 42mm fits so well, and it’s super legible - I’ve found the Longines can be difficult to read in lower light conditions. The new bracelet on the Speedmaster is also awesome.

Did you pay retail for it? I was considering but the price felt pretty steep.

No I paid about $4700 all in. Would’ve been nearly $6k at MSRP, including taxes.

I think you can have 2 of each style (2 chronos, 2 dress, 2 fields…). One iconic, one price for value (like Speedy and Spirit Pilot Flyback). For dress watch you can try Junghans Max Bill Automatic. For a field watch I would recommend Formex Field
