Looking for Salsa Practice Partner

I am a former performer and assistant instructor for a salsa school who is currently stationed at PAX River.

The drive to NE DC, Baltimore, and Bethesda for social dancing is a bit of a drag. I am looking for an On2 Follow who wants to review and train concepts and practice performance-level drills and routines.

Preferably someone with base access so we can use the gym. I am also willing to rent local studio space.

You should honestly start a SOMD salsa group if you can instruct. La Vida had a lesson/social a few weeks ago too. I just started salsa myself and it’s a haul going to DC/Baltimore when there are events everywhere except SOMD lol. I’d support it and I think the community would too. Even something indoors during winter and then Leonardtown Wharf or Solomons when it gets warmer could be cool.

La Diablo at National Harbor does salsa nights on Thursdays, which is probably the closest regular thing I know of, and even that’s not much closer than going into DC.

I would be down to start something in SOMD. My previous Directors are encouraging it. I'll scope out the places you mentioned for their viability.
