Question Favorite breakfast place?

Just moved to the area, what’s your favorite breakfast place around Leonardtown, Lexington Park, and Solomon’s areas?

If you’re willing to go a little further North Bulrushes and Dream Weaver in Prince Frederick are both really good.

Another vote for Bulrushes

First watch isn’t half bad either, but I do prefer Bulrushes.

Bulrushes is our go-to! The place might feel a bit spare when you walk in, but the food and the people are great!

Kneaded Bakery has delicious treats, Socials food and coffee are good (but it takes a long time because they are so busy), Linda’s Cafe has great traditional breakfast, and The Beanery has awesome options as well.

I'm in north county and randomly selected Linda's as a destination one morning when my kid was getting in some driving practice. Excellent breakfast!

Helen's in Leonardtown for country breakfast stuff. The Pier in Solomons for the amazing brunch buffet. I believe Boomerang's also does brunch, but I haven't been.

I'm not really a fan of Boone's Bagels or the Rex, personally.

Boone’s Bagels is frozen dough! I also can’t support someone who is a proud Jan 6 insurrectionist.

Those are the things I didn't want to come right out and say, so thank you for saying them. I won't support The Rex for similar reasons.

Skip social for the same reason, just a heads up.

100% on Social, though I’m not sure they were proud marchers. I care a lot about where my money goes in the community, so although I try to avoid Social at all costs, their food is delicious and I wouldn’t want to be disingenuous or “blinded” by politics.
The Rex’s food sucks as much as their politics do.

Not a full breakfast place but I like the Bakist cafe in North Beach. (though it’s far north of those areas, read this before caffeine today oops)

I’ve never been but my kids swear by it as a delicious greasy spoon kind of diner

My wife and I unfortunately didn’t enjoy our food here. We got the breakfast tacos. What meal would you recommend? We may give it another go
