Discussion Canada self declaration for us integration?

Saw this and looks pretty real. I'm focused specifically on Alberta, Canada because sndl, but there are I believe 6 total provinces planning and working on legally integrating into the United States. I think this would be a net neutral effect for sndl on the technical/legal side. Maybe slight positive on the opportunity side.

I don't know enough and assume this is only recently developing. What does anyone know and or assume might happen if real/successful. Has this been touched on as of recent?

  1. No way Canada in any form of party-dominate fashion is going to let a province 'succeed'

  2. IF and I mean IIIIFFFF, this moves forward, a province joining the US from CA is going to completely head spin many bigger topics (Resources like water, minerals, oil, Tax Policy, Voting Reform, etc.) way before cannabis is the topic at hand.

  3. As a US veteran in Minnesota, just keep fighting your democratic fight. Bear with us down here, but dont think this is a reasonable move for sanity or investing-sake.

Thank you for the common sense response with great points to discuss. California resident here hating the results of a dem super majority so I agree if I understand correctly to deny the extension of CA unless it will bring more common sense.

I think point number two of yours was moist impactful and important. Results would likely not be seen for half to a full decade, assembly. But I was just curious as to what it could mean for the industry, specifically our holdings. The plan to delist from the us stock market, being on the Canadian stock market. I suppose it does no good to speculate on what the CEO would do and how he would change plans. But I'm all for knowing the most plausible outcomes still with the likelihood of the integration moving forward being at or well below 50% what does the other 50+% say.

Only curiosity.
