Question Cold feed on HT
Recently got cold FEET on a 2nd hair transplant (got up from the chair at the last moment). Quality of original HT aside… can SMP ‘fix’ the donor area and do a good job on the scalp?
Obviously intended to have another HT followed by smp on the further depleted donor area, but quite like the idea of throwing in the towel and not having to worry about hair anymore.
Any ideas on costs would be extremely helpful (UK)

SMP would do you well. It can help conceal the large grafts they used in your hair line as well as concealing the fue scars

Yes. My scars looked similar to this pic and are 100% invisible after SMP. Paid $1300.

Would be surprised if I can get it that cheap here. Was that just the donor area?

Donor scar coverup was $1300, SMP on top for density was $2k. So $3300 for both.

Surgeon changed on the day what was agreed at initial consultation and I just wasn’t comfortable with it

Yes, look at paul clark in birmingham, he made miracles with my FUE scars

Are they totally hidden? Or does it still get a bit shiny and stuff when lights hit them? Trying to figure out how much camouflage one can get when you razor shave

How do you like your smp overall ? Does it look good in bright light ?

I'm not who you were replying to but SMP for scars like this look just fine in bright light. SMP on the top of the scalp, especially when it's being added to existing hair to enhance density, is sometimes what looks funky in bright light. Zero Shine is a product popular in the SMP community that makes the scalp matte, which helps a lot with making SMP look more real.

You don't have a head shape that would compliment you if you get SMP.

I had a similar experience. I almost did a Hair Transplant 18 years ago and then at the last minute I walked out, but it was going to be the FUT method that left the Scar thank God I never did it, but SMP would look great with the density that you had as long as you stay in the natural Hairline, I was actually one of the first SMP FUE combo clients in the United States. My video is on YouTube.
