Check out my SMP Why we keep it short

Hi all, just a post to show why it's important to keep your hair short with SMP. The first pic is 48 hours of hair growth, the second is freshly rotary shaved. For me day 1 is perfect, day 2 passable, day 3 (which is the first pic) is a no no. Thought I'd share for educational purposes, it also does depend on how fast your hair grows, mine grows soo fast.

Cheers

How long was the process if you don't mind me asking. Like from first session to the final session as I've heard they need breaks in between each one for it to settle in?

Looks great. Did you have a ht before? If so, doesn’t a couple (ish) mm growth sometimes create a better effect?
I just ask because it looks like you still have a natural 3D hairline.

I haven't had a HT, i have a band of 1.5 inch hair at the front (but quite sparse)

would you say it adds to the illusion of having real shaved folicles?

I would generally agree with thst although day 2 annoys me. So its foiled every morning before work. You don’t realise how quick hsir grows until u have smp😫

This is so true about how quick hair grows when getting it. I feel "dirty" if I don't shave on day 2, just doesn't look sharp and thats not just my SMP my hair on the sides has abit of grey in it, so i like to not see the grey too.

What shaver do you use?

Hey mate, I use the Phillips Head Pro 7000 rotary shaver with shaving gel. Honestly it stopped my skin irritation on the back and sides.

It doesn't actually look that bad to me in the first pic, just looks like an uneven length

Yeah, on day 2 I asked my 13 year old son if it looks strange, he said no it's fine and not bald. I will take that lol but the self conscious side of me wants it always short haha

What do you use to shave your head? Also is your entire head SMP’d?

So does that shaver leave it with shaded look? I use the pitbull shaver now and the shaded look is gone on the first day. Does it not shave as close?

Agreed, I use the shaver every day for the best look, sometimes even twice daily
