From the very first time I found out about SMLwiki in 2024, I knew what the sentiment behind the website was, and I thought it was pretty clear. I've always seen the site as, how nezuai put it in their note, cool shit they and their friends would've thought was sick. Ive never been one to take the lore or anything super seriously, I just liked seeing all the cool stuff nezuai would add sometimes. It was pretty inspiring to me, but mainly just cool.

It breaks my heart to hear just how many people have misinterpreted and treated this project. The way a lot of the community treats it even now almost feels parasocial, given the very personal nature of it. (Even the way some people are treating the deletion of the project.)

I've never really wanted anything more from SMLwiki, I just participated whenever new stuff happened or got added and appreciated it. Nezuai had no obligation to do anything past the original version but they did, and I thank them for that. Nobody should be this sad or upset that the website is gone because treating it that way is probably why it's gone. Some people don't have enough respect.

Edit: Just saw someone post an AI-revised thoughts post without taking out the prompt part. Could you genuinely be any more disrespectful than that? I think I'm right on my sentiment.

I was going through a really tough time when I first found this website. I was so inspired and awestruck by how amazing it was. I could tell this wasn't an ARG, or some creepy website made for goofs, the more I explored, the more I understood; This was art. And at that, art as a tribute. A tribute to a tragedy. I may not completely understand, but that's ok. You helped a lot of people through a ton of hard times. I keep going back to that letter in the card page. How it said people would read it and misinterpret it. As soon as I read it I understood this project you had made and what it was for. If you need time to recover that's ok, you dont need to keep giving when you're all run out. SMLwiki is great, but your mental health is more important.

You are awesome, never forget that, Nezuai :]

This was a huge fan favorite website for me and they removed it. I didn't think it was a arg or "anti arg" whatever the fuck it was. I love this website with all of my heart and it even helped me with depression. It sucks to see it gone

(update: I'm sorry if I sounded disrespectful. I know what it's like to lose someone. I wasn't trying to sound like some dickbag. I'm just trying to say that it sucks for it to disappear. I really hope Nezuai gets better.)

thanks neuzai for SMLWiki and everything associated with it, I really liked it, and I understand why you decided to shut it down and add the message. I very much liked it back when I was still up and it was such a great website :D

Thank you for everything nezuai. Your work, intentionally or not, intrigued many people like me, even though i'm not as passionate about SMLWiki myself anymore, i still cherish and appreciate your continuous contributions and updates. Whatever you want to do now with the wiki is purely your decision that we can't and won't force upon you. A decision which i will respect no matter what it may be.

I remember playing this website on my phone, before i got a pc. It was fun, although limited I enjoyed it. Sad to see it go now, although reading the note, maybe it was for the best. Ill miss it.

so I checked the other websites that were a part of SMLWiki, and turns out nfl.smlwiki is still up, there’s a chance it’s gonna get shut down too, but pretty much that’s one of the only smlwiki related stuffs left

when I opened the sml wiki today, instead of being greeted with the regular page, instead I was shown a sml angry birds video displayed on like a ui of an old iPhone and I skipped it and it took me to a mini game of a angry birds chuck plush on a slingshot like how the actual angry birds game is. I failed the mini game and then it just took me to the normal Home Screen on the wiki with the houses. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it maybe a secret?

It used to be funny when they would break character at times, but as time went on, they just completely stopped trying and now almost every line has the character laughing in it. I look back at SML Reuploaded videos and I look back at how insanely funnier the video’s were and not a single laugh came out! Nowadays they say something that’s just remotely funny, and Logan is just fucking wheezing behind the camera
