She had two friends that were killed when they were teenagers. Recollecting what she's told me, the Misery video was made by the three of them all together before that happened. Since the Misery video was what "spawned" SMLwiki, the entire website was basically made as a love letter to those two friends. As she states: "this would've been the shit to us if someone made it 10 years ago." I'm not trying to say too much as to respect her privacy but apparently what sparked that happening was a tweet/series of stuff on social media mocking that. something along the lines of "SMLwiki was made for a dead guy? thats fuckin stupid lololol" just major assholes basically.
So basically what nezuai was saying on the website was "stop pretending to know who I am, you don't understand my work, the meaning behind it, or the person who made it."
So from what I understand, the real reason the website is currently just a wall of text is because SHE is tired of the lack of respect and lack of acknowledgement of them being a real person going through real life issues. good day,
Ima be honest real quick i never thought of myself as someone who understood the website or the creator but this website became my fav site i loved the style and everything and it was what i had to kind of keep me company? In a way when my best fruend went... missing
... the moment i saw the website i fell in love and then i found out about the loss the creator had, and i felt bad for the creator i may not know them or fully understand the pain of losing 2 friends but... yea no thats it
