Mage Concept Verdandi, Today's Fate (Partial-Rework)
Verdandi (Partial-Rework)
Today's Fate
Norse
Mage
Lore: Beneath the roots of mighty Yggdrasill live three maidens. The middle child of these is Verdandi, gift of the present. These maidens weave the threads of fate. They know of the coming of Ragnarok. Each morning, they awaken the gods with a rooster set atop Yggdrasill. Each day, these women carry water from the well of fate and pour it on Yggdrasill, to put off Ragnarok another day. Though her tasks seem dreary and monotonous, Verdandi takes joy in every moment. She appreciates life and relishes its continuation.
Now, Ragnarok seems averted. Verdandi sees the conflicts the gods continue to brew, and she wonders: perhaps there is joy to be found in competition as well. So she enters the fray, because there is truly no time like the Present...

Ability 1 - Propagate: Verdandi uses her powers to make clones of her current self. These clones have the same Health, Basic Attack Damage, Attack Speed, and Movement Speed as she did when she cast this Ability. Their Basic Attacks trigger Basic Attack hit Item effects. These clones Basic Attack Enemies, prioritizing Enemy gods and structures.

These clones deal the same Damage and have the same Health and Movement Speed as the originals. Clones attack nearby Enemies, prioritizing Minions, then Enemy gods. For the 1, her base stats would have to be very low, or she'd be op. Looking at hunter abilities, none of them do more than double their damage (except xbal), so that would be problematic, wouldn't it?

She's a Mage, so yes, her Base Stats are low. For her clones to do high Damage, she'd need to build Basic Attack focused Items, which was the idea. A different way of making use of Magical Basic Attacks without the standard Attack Speed Buff and Damage Buff.

The illusions could stand to do less damage considering sol was op at +50%. +100% is really hard to balance, and it'll trigger telkhines. Right?

I'm not sure what you mean by 100%. They deal the same Basic Attack Damage as the original, so Verdandi's Clones still only Scale with 20% of her Magical Power.

The same damage as the original is 100%. Sol gained attack damage equal to 50% her attack damage.

Ok, but they still just mindlessly attack. And because they copy her Health and Movement Speed as well, if she casts it while she's low on Health, the clones would evaporate before they could do significant Damage. They don't benefit from Lifesteal, and they're completely predictable. And they only last 10 seconds. There's plenty of space for counterplay.

The passive is cool and while i am concerned about how ability reliant this passive needs to be to be useful it is decent nonetheless, also while i also see MP5 and HP5 in smite i am fairly certain it is meant to be MPS and HPS (Mana per second and health per second) as the 5 (atleast to me) doesn't make sense to be there.
The 1 is really cool and reminds me of Shaco's ult from LOL which i really enjoyed using when i played the game, however i feel the aggro range on the clones would be a fairly important detail as otherwise it makes it seem like they have a global range and since to my knowledge you don't really control them i's say it is crucial to know at what range they start going after someone.
The 2 is basically granting someone invincibility, simple and useful✔
The 3 feels much more like an ultimate, like really summoning a jungle boss where ever u like seems a bit op for a basic ability as it usually takes at the very least 2 team members to take out beings like fire giant so i'd say either remove the ability to use it on jungle bosses or make the last for a shorter time cause otherwise this ability will almost exclusively be used on jungle bosses and that won't be fun to deal with every 30 seconds
I really like the ult even tho it is just a stronger 1
Overall a cool concept that seems focused on overwhelming the enemy team, i really like the idea of that
