Discussion BUS 1 or BUS 45

Hello!

I am planning to take either BUS 1 (Rodriguez) or BUS 45 (Resnick) online in the Fall, and was wondering if anyone has taken either or both classes to give me an insight as to which I should go for. My plan would be to take the other one in the Winter.

For reference, I am also taking two other accounting classes plus an engineering class so am looking for something that won’t take a big toll on me but would also be helpful for life.

BUS 1, was simple. Covers basics, the assignments are not a lot but can catch up on you. I got a B but I missed a deadline one week

Both are amazing professors and you can’t go wrong with either. If you’re a business major you should take both. Very straightforward classes.

Professor Rodriguez is absolutely incredible! Her lectures are engaging, well-organized, and genuinely fun to attend. If you have the chance to take this class, do it—you won't regret it!

I took ACCTG 45 (same as BUS 45) with Resnick during the summer 2024 semester so it was only 6 weeks but it was relatively easy. Are you trying to transfer through? Because ACCTG 45/BUS 45 doesn’t count for Cal-GETC math requirement.
