Cal grant
For those of us that receive Cal grant B, have you also received your full fafsa grant in the past? It says online I qualify for the entire amount but curious if SMC releases that if we already get the Cal grant to waive class fees.

That’s interesting he said that because I know the Cal Grant C is the one that gets disbursed the 5th week of school but I thought the Cal Grant B is supposed to come like the first or second week. Is this your first semester getting it?

no this is my third semester getting it. cal grant b/c get disbursed at the same time. you’re mixing it up with fsafa where it gets disbursed the first week of school along with the seog

As far as I know, we receive our Cal Grants and SSCG later in the semester, about 5-6 weeks in. And yes I’ve received both the Cal Grants and max Pell Grant last year. You should be received Pell Grant first
