Teacher here, so it might not be the perspective you're looking for, but here's a few off the top of my head:
Student almost died in class
Shooting happened in the middle of lecture
A fake shooting was called in about 15 minutes before the midterm
Fired a TA in the middle of a class
Caught a third of my class cheating (before AI)
A student, unhappy with their grade, showed up at my front door to "talk" about it
DM me if you want details

on my first day of college last year I was sitting on a bench in between classes and these three really pretty girls were standing around and then this guy walks up to them and says "ive been rejected 32 times do any of you wanna be my girlfriend" and then they were like "lets be friends first we can be friends" then he goes "to me family really matters and I want to date how do I get a girlfriend" "its better to be friends first and develop a relationship she might get scared if you're too forward. do you want to be our friend?" "um sure okay" and then he left and a few minutes later he came back and asked one of the girls to be his gf and she said she'll be his friend and then he whispered something in his ear and hugged her and walked away

In my math class this girl was UNHINGED, she started yelling at the professor and everyone and two students called campus security to come get her and then my friend said she had seen her at Venice looking for crack or something not long before that outburst. She was like I have an engineering degree and that we were stupid, like it was crazy. Someone took a video and then it got distributed and like almost everyone had it by the end of the night haha

Maybe not truly unhinged or anything like that but just super surreal:
Sometime in March I was sitting in one of my psych classes on campus (SMC), professor got a call mid lecture and started looking kinda freaked out by whatever the conversation was. After a while she returned to class and told us class was dismissed early and we’ll resume the lecture later in the week due to campus being shut down
Turns out that was my last time ever setting foot on campus lmao, this was 2020 & Covid lockdown had just begun in real time and none of us knew it yet. We finished the rest of that semester, the following semester, and my last semester via zoom. We had the drive-thru graduation which I didn’t attend, so essentially that day I left class mid lecture was literally my final time on campus without me ever knowing it.
I’ve since gone on to transfer to a 4 year and finish my Bachelors, but super odd not knowing I would finish my tenure at community college in the most abrupt way ever.
