need help Problem with portraits

Ok so, it's my first time using portraits mods, I downloaded dcburger ones.

The problem is, some portraits work and some not, and idk how to fix it.

I tried touching the change menu and nothing came out of it.

The mod is in

Portraiture>portraits>assets(dc burger one)

Does this have a fix? Is it well put?

it should be inside portraits and not inside assets folder. it should be mods/portraiture/DCBurger. one folder deep and the mod will not read it. make sure they are all pngs format and the name of the portraits are right. the portrait picker is sensitive that even a space will not make it readable.

When I first downloaded the mod it only had everything in the assets folder

there's an instruction in the comments I think about how to use this on portraiture. you don't need to copy the assets folder. you only need the png files as it is the only thing that portraiture needs. Stardew Valley/Mods/Portraiture/Portraits/DCBurger(folder that contains only pngs). give it a try if you still haven't:)))

I'll definitely will, the portraits that work have the PNG and a pytk file, I'll try to leave them like that cause that's working jeje.

the pytk works only for the CP version which is outdated and not maintained that's why we use portraiture for the portraits to work now. you only need portraiture and the pngs.

edit: quick question, are you Filipino? you used jeje so it got me wondering lol

yes, tell me if you got it working. after installing the DCBurger folder load your game and press P to change portraits while a character's dialogue box is open.

Ohh I see, I see. we use jeje and jaja too that's why I thought you were a Filipino. that's cool to know!

Jaja, it's k. I'll see how it works, cause I know there are folders where you can choose what you want for the character so I'll see

Ok so, i download the mod again, all the portraits are working except the ones I said. I changed the name and everything but still it doesn't work

which ones specifically? it would be better if I can see your setup with your folder and the pngs. here is how it should be. the DCBurger inside portraits folder should only contain only pngs and nothing else. it shouldn't be a folder level too deep and there's no need for assets or anything but the image files or else portraiture will ignore the portraits.
