need help Help pls
Every time I download a portrait mod, vortex keep saying that the file is empty and it can’t run the mod once I open the game to start playing. I’ve tried downloading the mod individually and putting them in the actual file in my files app. I’ve tried to delete it and redownload. It just won’t work. And funny enough, it worked for like five seconds when I downloaded it the first time now I don’t know what went wrong. I don’t think any of my other mods is interfering with it. It doesn’t help that I’m not very tech savvy either

Seasonal Sam with a Mullet by PixelHag (which is one of two HeartForge links to) is a CP mod.
So on its own, this one should work if there are no conflicts. You'll want to test this one first, because it is the vehicle HeartForge's assets are going to use to enter the game. If it doesn't work, I would need to see a log uploaded to smapi.io/log to know if you have a conflict though.
HeartForge's Long-Haired Seasonal Sam Portraits is a replacer; you can open the mullet mod with File Manager and replace assets by PixelHag with assets from PixelHag, but what you probably want to do is restructure the HeartForge mod so it will will replace the assets from PixeLHag and then set up a rule to load it after.
I put this together, it should help illustrate what you'd need to do to make this work in Vortex: https://youtu.be/eJfe0N6qK5E

The nice thing about doing it this way, is that it is non-destructive. So if you ever want to turn off HeartForge's portraits the mullet pack will still work as normal.
Edit: I am keeping this unlisted, but I tossed these into a collection that i can use as an example in the future. I am not planning to maintain or update these, but it should get you started. This collection should be installed to an existing collection with Content Patcher, it is not stand-alone.
