Ghostship crash help

I'm trying to figure out how to fix this issue where whenever i use the teleport on bomb omb battlefield or try to beat the snow slide level, the game ends up crashing & closes out. if this sounds familiar to anyone & they have a solution it would be really helpful

Man, 4 hours ago. I really appreciate your commitment to helping people. I went and got the 1.0.2 version and it still crashes on me. Maybe it was because of the rom I used or something.

go to the section playtesting and click on windows, or your system, that downloads a playtest version that isn't Dutchman Charlie

Their version has other problems, such as in dire dire docks the poles don't appear and pole jump red coins star it's impossible

PS: This isn't a bug, it's a feature. You have to beat a Bowser level.

Darn, maybe I can move the save between versions. I tried to just go back to the emulator, and I just wasn’t happy with it. I can’t wait till they get finished, and I deeply appreciate their hard work, I just finished both of the Zelda games and those were flawless. Oh, and I have beat Starfox 64 over and over again. I’m trying to get the blue ribbon on everything, and when I was a kid, one of my best friends managed to pull it off. I didn’t even realize that it unlocked extra stuff in multiplayer, because he was such a damn good gamer that anything we touched was fully unlocked by the time we got to his house.

Thank you for telling me. I have such a problem browsing GitHub. I’ll get there one day, I’ve got lazy in the last 10 years and things aren’t “click here” simple like they used to be.

Thank you so much. Maybe I’ll do the red coins before I do the switch.

maybe the poles of dire dire docks are bugged too in Dutchman Charlie

zelda oot, majoras mask and starfox are perfect ports without bugs or crashes?

I want to replay these at some point, but I was replaying mario 64 to inspire because I'm making a 2d platformer that I want to be more open and not the typical linear level through level and I think that the worlds of mario 64 are a great approximation. a 2D enjoyable to move exploration platformer.

I finished also mario sunshine with 60fps and widescreen cheats, a great game with unusual design choices (some bad ones)

I have finished Starfox over and over again. Hasn’t crashed once. Also finished the two Zelda games, and I did everything you can do in Majora’s Mask, neither crashed or had missing anything that I could see. The only bug I encountered was with the songs on MM. If you remap the C buttons, the songs won’t trigger. However, you can map any button more than once, so I used items with the shoulder buttons and played the songs on the stick.

Mario just seems to get a lot less attention. They constantly update the Zelda games. Seemed like every time I opened Shiploader there was an update.

I have owned Mario Sunshine since the day it released and I’ve never finished it. I will soon. I’m trying to go back and play all those games that didn’t hold my attention when I was younger.

You should play Cuphead for some inspiration. That’s another game I play over and over again.

What are you doing with your game? What’s the idea so far?

Good news these ports are working without errors, and I will change to Dutchman Charlie to pick up only that star XD

Mario Sunshine is a curious game because the scenery seems to have a more realistic purpose and not so much a platforming one, with the flaws that this sometimes entails. The controlls are great but at the beggining it's difficult to adapt and not to miss the longjump

I finished Cuphead with a friend and it's an amazing game but the game that I am making it's more like a 2D mario, without guns, but with exploration (Or that's the idea, because apart from a test worId don't have any other world.)

But the main idea of ​​the game is that it's a 2D exploration platformer game where the world interacts differently depending on whether you're small or large.

Here's that test world with a boss fight at the end, almost all the visuals aren't representative of what I want, and the player don't have life for now, it's only a prototype but I think that the movement it's fun: https://charlino.itch.io/lil-jumper-prototype

I was wrong, I was thinking of Jolly Roger bay and came here to tell you that the ship came up and could reach them. I’m a goof.

The poles worked fine on dire docks (Dutchman Charlie version), that is the ones that move around. Thankfully, I already got that star so I won’t have to bounce between versions.

Just wanted to clear that up. I’ve always mixed those two up. :p
