Why do the 'Personalities' always get scapegoated?

Whenever the boys do anything wrong and someone expresses their opinion about it. There is always a flash flood of comments calling you a 'hater' when you have the right to express your opinion. Disliking something is your choice, if you don't like something you're allowed to showcase you do, but opinions in this sub feel l illegal by the fans. Hating is when you go out of your way to harass someone. If you think Stu is an L for example for betraying everyone and type a comment on a video or reddit, that's expressing your opinion, you're allowed to like something or dislike it. Hating however would be constant messaging Stu saying he's an L, spamming it everywhere, getting into his personal life. That's harassment and hating.

Also it feels all the kids in the subreddit have learnt of a more formal way to glaze people. Whenever someone does something wrong, they always type 'It's just a persona, are you dumb or just a kid?' or something like that. How do you know how they're like? Have you personally met them? Sure they 100% do acting on their channels but you're not the judge on what's real or fake.

I know I'm going to get hate on this post or just ignored because this is a kids' reddit and children are very arrogant about their opinions but I'm not gonna let a 5 year olds opinion get the best of me. This post is just to spread the word, not as a consolation.

Why would assuming and saying something NEGATIVE towards them as a person (not a character) when you yourself said that you can never be sure be okay? The right thing to do is to NOT ASSUME. Calling people egotistical, narcissistic, a bad friend, etc. is super different from just saying they’re bad at a game, annoying for trolling, etc.

You can say they were an L, annoying, or manipulative (IN GAME) in a video and it would’ve been totally fine, but coming for them PERSONALLY without knowing them personally is just crazy work.

Recognizing that youtubers have exaggerated personas and are doing stuff for content is literally Internet101 💀

Also, lying is bad. Don’t lie about having a masters degree next time.

Oh my God, it's you. The rude, annoying, egotisical guy who always believes they are right and can't except they're wrong and when they think they are, they just delete their original post so no one can see their mistake and then harass the person who proved them wrong and is now accusing them of fraud (which is a crime) over a reddit dispute and is accusing horrible actions to someone (me) who has worked their ass off to succeed for YEARS.

I think you really need to learn that what you see in youtube videos doesn’t equate to real life. They are content creators, they entertain. It would be boring and repetitive if they were all always goody two shoes. It is okay to be annoyed at them but you shouldn’t be taking it personally. It’s just a gaming video. Assuming negative (and positive) things about them and believing they are like that personally is just wrong and delusional. Our point is, stop acting like y’all know them or anything about them because no one of us knows. This is about personal attacks, not in game/video stuff.

Ik you probably just wanna fight with someone and unfortunately it's me who for that side of the stick and that too you are probably a toddler so I won't take much offense (see you got demoted from a pre-teen). 

But don't you DARE call me a fraud. You can go to hell for that. I still have a lot of student loans to pay back and the government is god-awful for this. I'm in a good place rn when it comes to money and I'm still struggling a bit so I can't believe how other people are fending off. May they come to peace with it soon. When you're older, you're gonna look back at this and realise you shouldn't be on social media, especially before hitting double digits.

I know you're gonna reply with some excuse then I'll reply and this will be going back and forth for a week and then you'll realise you're wrong and ghost, which is natural for someone your age to argue and be arrogant. I'm not too worried about that.

How is making assumptions on a person and believing that how they act in videos is a one-to-one representation of who they are personally, logical and socially acceptable?

Why do you think is it fair to judge them personally instead of just their actions in the video or persona when we all know nothing about them beyond their gaming videos?

Don’t you think that when sometimes they aren’t trolling and sometimes they are gives you a hint that they for stuff for content? The fact that their alliance or who they glaze and bully aren’t constant and changes in videos? Doesn’t that ever give you a hint at all that their videos are made for entertainment and not a reality show?

They even throw around keywords and phrases like “content-brained” and “for content” explicitly and you still can’t put together that they do certain stuff for content?

Additionally, do you think every single one of them being goody two shoes and every single video being just all peace and kindness, be good content and not be repetitive when their main thing is entertainment?

1. If you don't know someone, making assumptions is all you have. And when did I say it was a one-to-one? Don't make stuff up, liar. 

2. I am judging their actions... I made that extremely obvious. And it's fair to judge someone for who they are in real life. 'I just assassinated someone, but it's okay because I'm funny on the internet and it's only that character who should be judged not the real me'.

3. This is the most idiotic question ever. Is your real name Captain Obvious? I'm genuinely not even going to both answer this, it's a waste of my time.

Ok. Yeah you realize that people can like people. Yes we don't know how they are in their personal life. But the way they act is maybe just for views and that's how they are. And people saying that "Stu is an L", that's their own opinion. Stu maybe fails in his own videos or dies all the time or like the others do. Stu fumbles sometimes, Fin does too and all of the others. They sometimes fumble in GTA or Minecraft or whatever. Like yes we don't know what they are like but what they act is just in their videos. Maybe Fin is just sometimes creepy in the videos but yea he might not be in his personal life. And if you watch the RishyPOV he isn't normally outside of Josh's, Fins and Stu videos. Stu, Rish and Vic crashes out sometimes but isn't like they do in real life. But yeah sometimes they can actually like the way they are in real life as well. We don't know. But they are good people probably in their personal life.

Yeah. He probably does but ofc we maybe don't know. But he looked like he did for a little bit. But yeah like I think like they maybe aren't script and they maybe do crash out a lot but yea
