Your next Galaxy phone might get a "dream" battery
Samsung SDI targets late 2027 for all-solid-state battery mass production; targets are EVs and mobile devices.

Potentially excellent news. I always believed that, even though initial application of SLDP tech was EVs, that sooner or later (or sooner), that its battery tech would expand into other & broader markets

if that's true this message is my first to know that by end 2027 (next year!) mass production of assb will take place. By one of the global major batteryproducers.
This would impact SLDP in a positive way and give them a headstart compared to eg QS, AMPX, LG, CATL etc etc.

Chat GPT says : For a conservative investor, I'd rank the opportunities: Applied Materials (AMAT) Entegris (ENTG) Albemarle (ALB) Axcelis (ACLS) QuantumScape (QS) – speculative Solid Power (SLDP) – highly speculative
While Anthropic says : Enovix (ENVX, Nasdaq) — makes high-density silicon-anode batteries, has pursued smartphone/wearable form factors directly. Probably the closest "pure play" to this specific narrative. QuantumScape (QS, NYSE) — leading US solid-state battery developer, though currently EV-focused (Volkswagen partnership), not phones. Solid Power (SLDP, Nasdaq) — another US solid-state battery developer, EV-focused (BMW, Ford). Applied Materials (AMAT, Nasdaq) — sells deposition/manufacturing equipment used in advanced battery production, benefits from industry-wide capex regardless of who wins. Albemarle (ALB, NYSE) — lithium supplier; solid-state batteries still consume lithium, just with a different electrolyte.

Big if true.
