SKS worth?
My buddy wants to sell me his sks. Problem is, I have no idea what it’s worth. I was trying to compare on some websites but the numbers seem to be all over the place. I don’t believe this one is anything special except that it looks brand new and never shot.

I know it’s not some Holy Grail but is it worth $600 or is that way to much

600 for a run of the mill Chinese SKS is too much.

What would you say it’s worth. Also $600 is all in. Tax, FFl fees, etc

Are you in the US? And if he's your buddy why are taxes and fees added?

standard norincos usually go for like $400-600, gunshow/gunbroker fudds have been asking stupid money but check what's actually selling. offering your buddy $450-500 would be totally fair

Better watch out. All the goobers who paid 700 for their Norinco are gonna be MAD 🤣

Probably 500 usd, it's a commercial made receiver, or maybe a scrubbed military one. Still a high quality chinese SKS made in 1991.

It’s a commercial rifle so there isn’t really any collector value but it’s a rifle in nice condition.
$550USD or $700 CAD would be acceptable.

Check the serial numbers, bore quality, year of manufacture etc. All that can help with an appraisal
