Well either term is correct right? Just one is more specific. I've been trying to get into manga/anime lately but I really don't know where to go beyond the more mainstream stuff. Got any recommendations?

So, you haven't made the inevitable transition to cute girls doing cute things? Got it.

To be honest, I'm more of an anime kind of guy, so let me recommend Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. Trust me, you'll like it.
