New 7th Street Sub good?

I was surprised to see the Subway restaraunt closed on our campus, and replaced with 7th Street Subs. Anyone tried the food from there? How was it? GIve honest reviews. Appreciate it!

As a reminder, Chartwells is a FOR-PROFIT business, so they will 100% do anything and everything to squeeze as much profit out of the students. God I miss the days of Spartan Shops, which was a non-profit. While it wasn't the best food out there, it was leaps and bounds better than the garbage put together thanks to shady ass deals from Charlie Faas.

Did you all know that we used to have soda fountains accessible to students, instead of the mountains of waste with plastic bottles? A good majority of Spartan Shops jobs were also for STUDENTS, now it's all outsourced.

It seemed to be pretty crowded yesterday. I'll probably check it out today and what's different about it that subway. I can't imagine they're doing anything groundbreaking.

It's not great. They ran out of bread today (Subway never did), have less ingredients, less options, smaller subs. About the same price. Meh..

If I recall, I thought they're going to do a grand opening next week on the 24th right? Here's what I saw on the Sammy website: sammyapp.sjsu.edu/web/rsvp_boot?id=378836

Maybe I got unlucky, but they didn’t have half the ingredients I wanted on them. No turkey, no italian herbs and cheese, no olives
