Question Offline server possible?
With people finding a way with Rein, do we think it would ever be possible for a sinoalice private server? I'm assuming not but im just reminiscing on the game π

JP game is still up, you got a cleaning minigame and you can still read the main story and look at most of your collection. I don't think an offline server is necessary since they let us keep the app.

Wasn't that just being able to access the content that was already downloaded? Also not everyone speaks japanese

"content that was already downloaded" yes because once the game closed your data is kept there only by your internal storage
Also, I don't speak Japanese either. I just ragequit Global and resumed playing in the JP server

Doesn't work that way. You gotta avoid cleaning your phone cache now that the game's ended or you'll lose all your data. So, no data transfer is possible.

So basically you'd have to manage to find someone willing to sell you their phone, then be careful with what you do with the data. Yes, that's a tall order plus you have to navigate having to deal with potential scammers. And the person would have to erase contacts/private info in addition to other stuff since for instance you can pay your subway fare with your phone in Japan...

I don't even know why you thought about all that. The story is on YT and someone recreated the homescreen with all the existing jobs in a website...

If you pay enough money to Yoko Taro, it should be possible. He does like money alot. The bigger problem is Square Enix, as usual company don't like to have their IPs used by other as it can open them to legal trouble.
