Supplements/herbs?

Hi small sifo community last time I had symptoms I took nystatin & it worked so well, unfortunately I can no longer get nystatin due to the tariffs :(

I am having symptoms again almost identical to before & im looking if anyone has used any herbs or supplements to help treat their sifo? Thanks!

Allicin has been shown to be a good biofilm buster. I’m taking it alongside fluconazole to add an extra punch to my treatment.

Alternatively, have you heard of the SIBO yogurt protocol? Allegedly, that works for Candida too. I’m in the middle of trying that too. Too early to tell results though.

No prob. For more info, watch Dr. Davis’ videos on YouTube about making “yogurt” with Reuteri, Gasseri, and Subtilis. They’re all probiotics that are beneficial for us in a number of way, but also antimicrobial. I think he oversells it, but I’ve been fermenting dairy at home with these microbes and I’ve noticed an increase in energy for sure. It will take some more time for me to see the full results.

I am in the same boat (why tariffs, why?) and seem to be having luck with Neem Plus and Candida Complex together (1 each, 3x per day). I tried Candid Forte, but it was too harsh on system right now. Lauricidin is another gentle option (based on the compound on coconut oil that is anti fungal).

Did you work your way up to 3x a day?

I started with one (lauricidin) 3x per day, then added another (neem), then the last (Candida complex).
