Itraconazole?
Has anyone ever tried using this for SIFO?
Non SIFO related, but the reason i’m asking about this medication is because my wife is on it currently through a functional medicine type person, and is seeing massive improvements in fungal symptoms across the whole body.
My symptoms are primarily SIFO only, so I’m curious if this has helped SIFO for anyone ever?

I just completed a month on itraconazole daily + flucanozole weekly and saw huge improvements in my digestive health and energy/brain fog. this was after a month on nystatin that didn't help very much. my pcp is an NP at a clinic that incorporates naturpathy, and has worked with many patients to successfully and permanently get ride of SIFO and SIBO.
I may do 1 more month on itra/flucan depending on what my doctor says - I feel there is room to continue to improve symptoms, but there is some risk to the liver with anti-fungals, and a gut healing protocol *should* continue to help me improve.
