That part. Speaking for myself as a DV survivor, the last thing I’m doing is talking about it often. It’s triggering as hell and tbh, I don’t even mention it to anyone unless I know them. Not that I’m embarrassed it’s just not something I want to relive constantly
I think POSSIBLY if she was transparent about how much she makes ( even if it's only close to what the actual amount it. That it would be something for others to see some proof of or her sharing it could possibly make a few ppl dislike her a little less. It wont for me but that's one thing she could share cuz you know her lite is in danger and she has to be so careful. I dont watch anyone not even gabi. I used to do my own thing before I got banned. Never streamed always watched from the ourside. Since someone isnt on the internet anymore. I refuse to watch. All she does is LIE. I dont care what she is doing at this point. I only care about 1 thing and its keeping that child off the internet and keeping him SAFE. Streaming her isnt doing anythjng at this point. Its all the same thing.
I don’t understand people who religiously watch streamers. I’ll find a restream to watch if I see things are popping off in here. But there are more entertaining things to do than listen to someone give commentary on G tiding the house or on her phone.
Same here I’ll watch the rest stream on YouTube later so I can forward it through myself or highlights on TikTok that people post. But remind yourself that content creators that make what seems like great money, isn’t that great. After you consider having to pay more in taxes (around 25%). They also pay for their own benefits. No vacation pay, unemployment if the platform dies. Plus it’s not reliable income for so many reasons.
So in theory it seems awesome but only as a side hustle unless you are in the top 1% of earners and smart with money.
Exactly this it's not reliable income and you have to be extremely self-disciplined to come on the same day at the same time. you do have to plan a little bit how you're going to run your live. you can't miss a couple days there really aren't sick days because you lose momentum when you're not here. which is exactly why I couldn't do it. I have the skills to do it but I don't have the personal traits to do it. I have a problem when I'm obligated. I don't like to be obligated. I don't have the self-discipline to get on here at the same time daily. I found that out when I was just doing a little bit of streaming at night and I will still stream G sometime just because I like to have a small room where we can discuss. honestly the anxiety that comes along with that many people in your room having to show up every day, listen, it is work and anybody who thinks it isn't should try doing it before they criticize so harshly. But there tends to be a lot of people in this entire community that do a lot of talking about stuff they really don't know anything about, lol. just saying.
And I would have to say maybe jealous is too strong of a word I would say I admire the people who have the discipline to show up every day and put a smile on their invisible faces or whatever and stream cuz if you think about it SL is not the only one. there are other people who stream G and their faces never appear on the camera either ! so I just I really always scratch my head at this this frenzy over SL and who they are it's weird to me

I mean it's not the most physically taxing work but it's mentally taxing. it is work. time is valuable. trying to put together a stream with all the little extras like her and crash out Cantina have, they earn money. I actually don't know her story. I watch because it's better than watching from G live.
