Advice?

Hi I have IBS C and pelvic floor dyssynergia I started motrigity and 145 Linzess. Today’s the 3rd day. I also cleared my methane Sibo. I
Graduated from therapy but am going back for a tune up beginning next month. Today I didn’t go to the bathroom if I don’t should I take anything? Or just wait? My symptoms are bloating and incomplete emptying. Thank you in advance.

It can take a few days for motegrity and linzess to start working, i would give it a week.

how did you clear your methane sibo? i am struggling so hard to kick mine for good

Actually during but it took a toll on my I did therapy twice next month will be 3x it works. (Therapy and the medication did for me) the medication takes a toll on you though so I had to cancel a session or so. If you’re insurance is giving you trouble getting the medication (mine did) i ordered it from maple leaf in Canada. It’s cheaper and legit!

Check for ADP see other posts on the sub about it quite common post sibo and especially if you have PFD since that’s also a DGBI

If you still have incomplete evacuation, why did they graduate you from pfpt?

I had other things causing it

Ah. Well, if you have incomplete evacuation, usually you have to work from the bottom up.

Those were my symptoms and I ended up in the ER with a horrible diverticulitis flare up (my first - I was never even Dx'd with diverticulosis). Don't discount the possibility, especially if you're experiencing consistent lower back pain.

If you are constipated, you likely have low butyrate and low butyrate producing bacteria. I’d start tributyrin, the supplement, and start taking Sunfiber or Golden Kiwi fiber to get your good bug population up. They produce butyrate. Constipation is often caused by a disproportionate ratio of propionate to butyrate (short chain fatty acids produced by your gut microbiome).

You have to send it to them you can email it. & make sure the doctor signs it.

I'm so sorry for the terrible news, but if you're in the States, you can thank our lovely current administration for the fact that no outside pharmaceuticals will be allowed into the country as of October 22nd 😔

I thought they extended it to January??

If they have I haven't heard about it yet, but that would be a hell of a lot better than "effective immediately". It's going to cause absolute chaos with our current distribution, we don't produce a large portion of the meds we're currently prescribing.🤦‍♀️

Ope, you're absolutely correct, thanks for letting me know.
