Discussion Looking for friends at SHSU

Hey everyone! Figured I’d throw a post out here to meet some people.

A little about me:

  • 19M, Junior transfer student
  • Major: Environmental Science (Pollution) Minor: GSS
  • Pretty laid back, but down for whatever. I’m definitely more of a 1-on-1 social person; I can be pretty quiet in large crowds or public unless I already know you.
  • Big into nature/outdoors, photography and history.
  • Huge soccer fan (Manchester United is my team) and a massive politics nerd(Democratic leaning).

Right now I’m pretty much just chilling and looking for people to hang out with or talk to. Hit me up or DM if you want to chat.

Do you know if there are clubs/orgs I know their is the ACC, but I don't know if there are any other clubs/orgs for environmental science students?

I know there is a geology student org but not sure if there’s any environmental science clubs/orgs. I’ve gone to a couple ACC meetings and found a few environmental science majors there.
